While reading National Geographic and imagining myself trekking around the Egyptian pyramids, I was consulting my sisters on makeup choices and cutting my friends’ hair. You could say I was multi-passionate.
It wasn’t until years later, while in my late 20’s after pursing a career in history and museums, that I re-discovered my old passion of beauty care.

Cue the detective work. I looked at everything I was putting on my body (for years I was extremely loyal to the top department store brands). It was horrifying to see what ingredients were in these products. I wasn’t the only one to experience these sudden changes. I discovered that it’s very common for women at this age to develop skin issues because of hormonal changes caused by birth control pills, environment, or just the good ol’ aging process.
